From Coron, I took a ferry into El Nido, ready to see and experience more what I’d been dreaming of for so long. These landscapes are simply stunning. I stayed at a hostel about half an hour from the town centre with outrageously beautiful sunsets. I really wished, though, there was someplace I could have seafood from the market made easily! Minor drawbacks to hostel life.
Most boat tour operators in El Nido offer Tours A, B, C & D, generally groups of islands that are clustered together, though the actual routres can change depending on the weather. On my first day of island hopping, I joined Tour C, which stopped at Secret Beach. I was just floored by it all - the water, the wind, the limestone cliffs, these incredible lunch spreads. Scenery to never forget.
On a day trip to the beaches of Duli and Nacpan, which you could get to by land, I cared solely about two things - a light breeze to ease my hangover, and how amazing a glass of halo-halo on the beach could be.
