Palawan, Part Three

From the hostel, I joined another island hopping tour around the outer reaches of Bacuit Bay, where the town of El Nido sits. On lazy days in town, I wandered to the church, stopped by the bakery, had another great lunch at a local eatery.

From Kalye Artisano and the resorts of Lio Beach to the canopy walk overlooking the bay, I experienced different sides of El Nido.

On a day trip to the town of Taytay, where I learned my paternal grandfather grew up, I visited the Spanish fort of Santa Isabel. The history of this place just pulls at me, and likely won’t let go.
